The Pillow Project :$2.00 AdmissionBring your own REGULAR pillow18 and up ONLY.WHERE: Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark (BV Bomber's Baseball Stadium) - 2200 Bomber Drive - Bryan, TexasWHEN: SUNDAY, MARCH 6th, 2011 ; 3:00pm-6:30pm (arrive 2:00-2:30pm)HOW: Parking is free at the event and busses will pick up at Simpson Drill Field at 2:00pm!WHAT: Bands, special guests, speeches, t-shirts thrown out, bungee run, video game tents, obstacle course, speed pitch, food and drinks (no alcohol), & raffle ticket drawings! Thousands of people will gather to not only participate in a HUGE fundraising project for the Boys and Girls Club of the Brazos Valley but will be trying to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Pillow Fight in the World!1) This is a HUGE fundraising event for the Boys and Girls Club of Brazos Calley. It will only be $2.00 to enter the event; an activities pass will be $4.00. There will be raffle tickets sold for special prizes donated by corporate sponsors and perhaps even some type of auctions. All proceeds will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club, thus making this event designed specifically to help out the children of the Bryan-College Station area. 2) This will be an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Pillow Fight in the World! Everyone bring a Pillow, REGULAR SIZE - BYOP (Bring Your Own Pillow). It is mandatory to bring a NORMAL Pillow because this is an actual attempt in breaking the world record of 3,706. With Texas A&M holding over 48,000 students, TAMU can easily surpass this record and have everyone involved be a part of a Guinness World Record.3) The event will take place from 3:00pm-6:30pm. Bands will be performing the entire time, speeches will be made by special guests, Freebirds and the BV Bombers will be providing food, and games will be played as well (Obstacle Course, Bungee Run, 2 Video Game Tents and a speed pitch). You will also be asked to sign a waiver for before entering the event. Frito and Alli from Candy95.1 will emcee the event!

NEWS:January 14th, 2011- Event date has been moved EARLIER to SUNDAY MARCH 6TH, 2011!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------January 12th, 2011 - High Noon Entertainment in California (creator of Cake Boss, Unwrapped and VH1's Tough Love) has interest in having The Pillow Project be featured in their first television episode, airing on TruTV! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------December 10th, 2010 - Copy Corner has officially stated that they are helping by being our supplies and marketing sponsor!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------November 25th, 2010 - Guinness World Records has officially accepted the record attempt application and has recognized The Pillow Project as a legitimate record breaking attempt! Current record of 3,706 is verified, this is the number to beat!------------------------------------------------------------------------------November 24th, 2010 - Spoons, the yogurt company, has generously donated a $50 gift card prize towards our raffle and silent auction!------------------------------------------------------------------------------November 17th, 2010 - Website is almost complete and we are setting up meetings with potential sponsors! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------November 16th, 2010 - Doing more website tweaks..--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------November 14th, 2010 - Began using Wix.
